On October 12, 2024, Islands and regions across Hawai'i are planning for Every Hale, A Hale Pule. The west side of Oahu, Chinatown, Big Island, Kauai, and other groups are meeting with leaders for this significant day of prayer across our state. For revival to truly have its lasting impact, it must start & continue in every hale.

Aloha TOWH Ohana!

All who love Jesus and want to see revival in our Hawai'i are welcome to attend this special gathering tomorrow, Wednesday Sept. 18.

Originally, the invite was geared towards pastors and leaders, but we are opening it to everyone who has a heart to see Hawai'i transformed.

All are welcome to come to First Assembly of God on 18th of September at 7 PM to hear the importance and strategy of a Church in Hawaii unified around Jesus through prayer.

We are not looking at a singular event that comes and goes.

We want to see something that lasts and grows and transforms people and all Hawaii. We want to see the presence of the Lord leading, permeating, and transforming every ohana and hale of Hawai’i starting on the Day of Atonement, October 12 (if not sooner!).

I know that this is short notice, but if you can carve out time out of your crazy busy schedules, this would be awesome.

Good Friday - The Call to Reconciliation

We are believing that His glory will fall as we take up His call for us to be ambassadors of reconciliation and that His heart is for harmony and unity within His Church.  

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.  

2 Corinthians 5:17-20

Good Friday Service – The Call to Reconciliation

• Date: Friday, March 29th

• Location: First Assembly of God at Red Hill

• Time: 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM (Both services are the same with different prayer emphasis.)

• 4:00 PM Prayer for Pastors (This provides an option for pastors/churches to stand for unity but continue with their own services later that evening.)

• 6:00 PM Prayer for Next Generation

We are asking churches for a suggested donation of $500 to The Shelter as a way for us to sow into this kingdom initiative.  If you want to learn more about The Shelter, you can visit their website at www.shelter.org.

102 Air Doctor Air Purifiers arrived and was hand-delivered to the ohanas that reside in Leiali’i 1A Homestead in Lahaina, Maui. Mahalo TOWHAWAII for praying & raising funds for this blessing!

UPDATE - August 21, 2023:

On Monday, August 21, Pastor Allen Cardines and I went to Maui to do some exploratory work on what God was leading us to do for the people of Lahaina after that devastating fire.  We knew that the Lord was leading us but we had no idea who we were going to meet or what we were going to do. Nonetheless, God led us all the way to His “man of peace” a’ la Luke 10.  He is Peter Hett and he is the leader of the Neighborhood Security Watch of the Hawaiian Homestead land in Lahaina that was in the midst of the fire (The Villages of Leiali’I 1A).  There was a connection with Peter, and especially with Allen! 

Peter shared that many of their immediate needs are being met as far as food, clothing, and shelter.  We could come up with our own ideas but what are the needs that they are expressing?   It took a while for Peter to let us know what they needed.   We did local style evangelism, we blessed Peter and simply “talked story” but moreso, we just listened.  As we did, Peter slowly opened up and honestly shared.

“What we could use,” Peter said, “are solar-powered security lights and, most of all . . . AIR PURIFIERS.  We do not have healthy air quality because the dust and grounds from the fires are poisonous.”  The grounds have the remnants of asbestos, plastics, and lead plus so much more.  A fire fighter told me that they are expecting all of the “cadaver dogs” to die of cancer because they are constantly inhaling the dust.  

The Lord clearly showed us to make our initial goal the purchasing of air purifiers for the Leiali’i 1A Homestead.  We had already received $9,000 and as soon as we got home, we began the process of purchasing at least 12 air purifiers as a start.   When Pastor Allen shared this with Peter Hett, he was blown away!   Peter would like to give the air purifiers starting with the most needy homes of those struggling with respiratory issues, the Kupuna (elderly) and those with children. 

THEREFORE, I AM PROPOSING THAT WE WOULD INITIALLY RAISE AT LEAST $63K SO THAT WE COULD PURCHASE AND GIVE 102 AIR PURIFIERS SO THAT EVERY HOME WOULD HAVE ONE IN THE LEIALI’I 1A HOMESTEAD IN LAHAINA, MAUI.  

I truly believe that God is calling us in this endeavor.  Would you join us?

100% of what is donated will go towards the Lahaina Fire Relief.  

Please remember that the devastation of Lahaina is hard to fathom.  As a result, there will be more needs that we will share in the future, e.g. solar powered security lights.  Our goals are always moving because the needs are always changing.  My personal desire is that we would initially raise $100K to help out with the needs of all our brothers and sisters in Lahaina.

Lastly, PRAY FOR MAUI!  God is truly hearing and answering your prayers.  Please do not stop.   PRAYER IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT WE CAN ALL DO.
